Access+ HMO

We offer two Access+ HMO plans for individuals and families - the High Option and the Value Option Plans. Each offers the same great benefits and features, but the Value Option has a deductible for most hospital services and features lower rates. With both plans, members enjoy:

• The ability to choose their own Personal Physician and to change Personal Physicians for any reason
• A wide range of benefits, including a prescription drug card and mail service program.
• Fixed copayments for most covered services, including general and specialty care
• Preventive care services covered at no charge
• Access+ Specialist - choice of seeing their Personal Physician and paying their standard copayment or going directly to a specialist in the same medical group or IPA as their Personal Physician without a referral for a fixed, $30 copayment
• Access+ Satisfaction - a responsive member feedback program that even offers to refund members their standard physician office visit copayment if they are ever dissatisfied with the service received from an Access+ HMO network physician
• Access+ Online - our new World Wide Web site offers members instant access to the information they need to manage and take control of their health
• Nationwide HMO Blue USA network for out-of-area urgent care
• Worldwide emergency coverage
• Toll-free customer service

Network Personal Physicians are responsible for providing and/or coordinating all of a member's medical care including specialty referrals, except when a member chooses the Access+ Specialist option.
